The Daily Look: Stay Wild, Stay at Home Covid-19

ShopLook: WkndQuaintrelle

I’ve lost track of what day of the week it is and how long we’ve been in quarantine. Story of our lives, right now.

I went out for the first time since The first week of March. I went into my local Target to buy some new summer clothes for Salomé since it’s heating up in Cali. I finally experienced the whole CoVid-19 pandemic- lines to get into the store, face masks on everyone, etc. To say the least it was bizarre. I can not wait for this to be over so I can safety venture into the world with my baby girl. Until then, I’m staying my ass at home.

This look was inspired by staying my ass at home but keeping it cute and trendy. Comment below what looks you want me to create.

The Daily Look: Covid-19 & Chill / Stay Safe at Home in Style

My 40 day post partum quarantine is now over, even if it doesn’t feel like it. If your Latinx you know after giving birth you go into your Cuarentena with your baby aka stay yo’ ass home, periodt.

My cuarentena started way before the world went into quarantine, so while everyone was freaking out about being home all day every day it was nothing to me.

However it’s ironic, I was looking forward to finally dressing like myself again after my cuarentena was over and now I still can’t unless I’m trying to be hella extra sitting in the living room in a blazer lol. Oh well.

Since we’re all stuck inside until who knows when I’ll be posting more outfit Inspo, so when we can roam the streets again we have style options .

The Daily Look: Graphic Tee Shirt & Snake Skin Booties for a Casual LA Weekend.

Life has been very interesting lately. I’m officially 9 months pregnant and booooyyyyy can I feel it! Baby girl is feeling heavier everyday and I’ve mastered waddle walking. I am constantly tired, hungry and out of breath, however my husband and I are VERY excited to have baby girl with us soon. Nesting mode is on and it’s crunch time to finish baby girl’s nursery, get our hospital bag together before she decides to makes her grand entrance. I want to get as many blog post ready before I go into labor, so would you guys like to see some maternity blog posts like a nursery tour or what’s in my hospital bag? Let me know in the comment section.

Onto the Daily Look, which is very much my style and I can’t wait to finally start dressing more like myself. What makes this outfit are the accessories, the layered gold jewelry makes the simple graphic tee shirt a little more lux. As well the snake skin booties are very trendy and amp up the look. Instead of going with a neutral bag color like black or brown, which would look great with the booties, I went with this green pop of color. The whole outfit is pretty neutral with tan/brown tones, so adding a pop of color makes everything look fresh and interesting. This outfit is very Getting-Brunch-With-The-Girls-In-Down-Town-LA vibes on a sunny 70 degree day, don’t you agree?

Don’t forget styling is half of the magic behind a great look, so tucking in the graphic tee will make it look less frumpy and more fashion.

I hope everyone’s February is better than their January, and don’t forget to follow me on all my social medias for everyday nonsense, inspo and laughs.

The Daily Look: GRLFRND Bobbi High Waist Crop Straight Leg Jeans

Follow me on Shoplook (Wkndquaintrelle) to get all the details.

As I get closer to my due date I can’t help to feel anxious, mostly for the arrival of my baby girl, but also getting to wear normal clothes again. Yes, it’s true maternity clothes is VERY comfortable however, I miss getting dressed and feeling like myself.

The main focus of the outfits above are the jeans. I am that type of girl who will probably be buried in a pair of my favorite jeans. Dresses, skirts and shorts are cool and all, but I truly feel like myself with a pair of jeans on. I usually go for the skinny jeans silhouette, however post-partum I think the straight leg look will definitely be more flattering on my figure.

A few weeks ago, I thrifted a black hand bag very similar to the one I have pictured above and it has been my go-to bag ever since. The farther along my pregnancy the less I can deal with fussing over a big shoulder bag, so I down sized everything and it has been the best decision. Besides, small top handle bags have been very trendy right now and I don’t see them going away anytime soon.

Until I pop out my baby and can fit into a pair of high waisted jeans I will be posting outfit inspiration of what I would wear or want to wear. The best way to get details of the above items is to follow my ShopLook , it will have everything you need to find the exact items. If you want to see a particular type of look comment below and let me know!
